Manila Bread House
About This Spot
Stepping into Manila Bread House is like being welcomed into a warm, busy family kitchen—there’s an unmistakable sense of care and tradition woven into the air. The atmosphere strikes a balance between comforting familiarity and quiet energy, where locals come not just for food but for connection. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot that invites you to pause, whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or picking up something special for a gathering.
The pace here is unhurried yet purposeful. Behind the counter, familiar faces move with thoughtful ease, attentive but never rushed. The aroma of freshly baked bread and home-cooked dishes lingers softly, drawing you closer to explore. The mood feels both lively and intimate, a subtle harmony reflecting the heart of a community place that values genuine flavors and honest hospitality.
Manila Bread House isn’t just a bakery or a cake shop—it’s a haven for those who cherish the subtle pleasures of Filipino cooking made with care. From the soft, comforting warmth of freshly baked pandesal to the rich, satisfying layers of classic dishes served hot and ready, each bite carries a story of heritage and home. You might find yourself lingering over a plate of lumpia, savoring each hand-rolled piece or catching up with friends over pancit that feels like a shared celebration. The bakery also serves as a go-to for wedding cakes and special orders, where you can sense the same thoughtful touch that goes into every corner of the space.
While simplicity rules the day here, it’s the small human moments that truly define the experience: the kind smile from a staff member who remembers a favorite order, the subtle nod of approval from neighbors who’ve returned time and again, or the gentle bustle of someone picking up fresh fried tilapia just in time before it sells out. Manila Bread House feels like an invitation—not to a restaurant but to a table filled with stories, genuine food, and quietly joyful moments.

I walked in to a clean and welcoming store. The lady working explained to me that I could get the lunch special or purchase items from their store. I got the chicken adobo with rice and then some ube pan. It was DELICIOUS. I applauded to an empty room after my first bite. Everything tasted super fresh. Thank you to the staff that helped me with my first visit! Will be back to try the Lumpia

The best lumpia! Got chicken and beef. Fabulous and friendly. Got it to go and fast too. They also sell it frozen, which is my next objective. Pricing was great. Now on my 'must have' list. Try them out, you'll be glad

We bought some Pan de Ube here today, and it was delicious. Freshly baked, soft and tasty. The lady who helped us was so nice. Highly recommend!

Very nice little neighborhood market. They have the best Beef Lumpia that I have had. They cooked up 50 for and it was outstanding. The store owner said she is in the process of redoing and upgrading the menu. Large selection of frozen and shelf items, but you have to get there early to get the fresh fish , they do sell out fast. Stop by and take a look, you won't be disappointed. Nothing fancy just a nice little neighborhood market.

I just went there yesterday. O.m.g!! I got some rolls that had purple yam in it and my sister got the ones that had coconut in it. It was amazing!!!! The texture bwas like super soft and doughy bread but it tastes like a donut! Oh! I am ashamed to say I ate 3. It was so cool to see dessert from another culture. I am going back this week to wee what else I can get! They sell hot food too!! You really need to go!
